New Products designed specifically for use within the NDT and Radiography Industry

To complement the existing range of Radishield radiation shielding products, Mazel have now introduced 2 specially designed versions of Radishield for use by companies carrying out on-site non-destructive testing using radiography.

Radishield Guide Tube Shield

The Radishield Guide Tube Shield is designed for use with source projector guide tubes.
It provides shielding of the source guide tube whilst still allowing excellent flexibility for use in confined spaces. The unique patented design of interlocking Radishield segments combined with a flexible, non-corroding stainless steel outer sheath ensures excellent reductions in radiation levels whilst providing a durable easy to use addition to existing equipment.
Radishield Guide Tube Shields are made to match customers existing source guide tubes and are available with a short lead time.

Radishield Shroud System

The Radishield Shroud System is designed for use in the NDT industry where there is a need to reduce safe working distances whilst Radiographic examination is carried out on pipe work.
The system is easy to use and provides excellent shielding on a range of pipe diameters.
Two main sizes are available:

6” dia….with adaptors available to fit pipe work as small as 1”dia

12” dia with adaptors to fit down to 7” diameter.

The design of the shroud system provides for quick fitment and allows for easy rotation around the pipe work to accommodate multi film shots. Apertures may be formed into the main shroud to fit customers collimators .
Retaining straps and carrying cases are available as optional extras.
